I always have hair extensions and had hair extensions done at Powercutzz last November and they are still looking as good as the day they were put in. I paid £400 and that included 5 maintenance visits . On the maintenance visits the girls washed and put a treatment on my hair then wither blow dryed it or curled it depending on what i wanted. I tried all styles. On my christmas maintenance Kim( think it was Kim the manager with red hair) put my hair up and it loked fantastic. NO way could anyone tell i had extensions. I am planning to have htem taken out next month and redone. This was brilliant value for money and the extensions are far better than any i have ever had before. I will be using them in future for all my stuff and would recomend to friends.thank you from carolyn

I have been visiting Powercutz for 6 years to get my hair done. The fantastic thing about this salon is the service. I am always treated as good as the first visit, never taken for granted that I want the same as last time, the girls are always retraining and offering great new advice on styles and new colors. I have tried some other places when i couldnt get in but soon returned here as they are as the best in tameside and I think in Manchester

one thing I love about powercutz is they are that confident in their service they guarantee if your not happy they will re do your hair .I have never had to do this but its nice to know

Good Points
I visited Powercutz on many occasions including my wedding. The service , style and professionalism ~I received was amazing and the best ever. I have only moved on because one of the stylists has opened a sister salon In Ashton.

Bad Points
No bad points , apart from they are so busy you cannot get an appointment unless you book ahead.

General Comments
Try them , these guys know what they are doing. They are as good as the big boys uptown , infact they are better and excellent valuecloud9

Good Points
5 star salon recommended by the Good Salon Guide.
Top Style Directors and Artistic Directors (with the highest qualifications attainable).
Have won numerous accolades and awards including Salon of the Year runner up in 2001 and 2003.
Online booking system and shop.
Don't have to go into the city for one of the best hairdressers.
Staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Free tests done if colouring required (they won't just colour your hair, they will do a strand test and advise you).

Bad Points
It is advisable to make an appointment in advance, as the salon can get very busy.

General Comments
Powercutzz Hair Studio in Dukinfield is the best salon in the Tameside/Greater Manchester/Cheshire area in my opinion. I would even go so far as to say they are one of the best in the country. I looked in the Good Salon Guide as I didn't want to have to trek into the city to get my hair done, and was surprised to find a local (ish) salon (outside of the city) that was rated with 5 stars.

Powercutzz staff are absolutely brilliant, and they have never failed to do a fantastic job.

Their prices are fantastic considering what you get - the BEST, and I mean the best... The best Style Directors, Artistic Directors and Colour Technicians, who are all trained to the highest levels attainable, and who also have numerous years of top city salon experience.

Powercutzz also sell Wella and GHD products at very good prices. The advice they give me is invaluable, and if you are a regular customer you get a discount on all their prices.

I highly recommend Powercutzz to anyone, and they absolutely, without a doubt, deserve their good reputation. I would not let anyone else other than Powercutzz touch my hair now.
Mummyleya ‎ - Great warm welcome from the minute I entered this salon until I left two hours later. Cappuchino was offered and refreshed throughout. Kim was my stylist and she is the salon colour master. She advised me against a picture i took i'n taking the time to tell me it would not suit my hair type and would be difficult to handle, she suggested various other options that would give me a great look without too much maintenance. And this is certainly what she did give me. Thank you girls for making me look fab , can't wait for my manicure next week with Fiona

ive been visiting powercutzz now for about 14 years, ive had all sorts of styles and colours over the years and have never had a complaint , i always walk out loving my hair.
i always want to change my hair and the girls always discuss this and advise what does and doesnt look good by way of face shapes and so on.
ive had my hair done by most of the girls over the years and all have been good at what they do, but the longstanding girls, kim and natalie are brilliant at what they do.
the atmosphere is always brilliant and warming and the special offers that come up are brilliant too,

ive never had a bad experiance at the salon and intend on going for more years to come and would recommend to anyone.
